Support 126!

We host a year round season of events both in our exhibition space and off-site. Our gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 1 to 6 pm, or by appointment.

126 accepts exhibition proposals at any time and welcomes challenging and ambitious ideas. We require a specific proposal, a CV and images of recent work. We do ask that all exhibiting artists become members. Membership forms and additional information are available here. Send all correspondence to 126, Artist-run gallery, Queen St., Galway, Ireland or to contact@126.ie.

Our curatorial focus is on developing an exciting and varied programme of Irish and international artists with a strong conceptual approach. We value new media, emerging artists, risk-taking or experimental work, meta-curatorial strategies, discussions, lectures, and international exchanges.

For photographs and more information please view Past Exhibitions.

126’s programming is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
